LONDON (EJP)---In a message from 10 Downing Street, British Prime Minister David Cameron sent his best wishes for the Jewish Festival of Lights that starts on Wednesday night.

"I want to pass on my very best wishes to the Jewish community here and around the world for a happy and peaceful Chanukah."

"The story of Chanukah continues to be an inspiring message of the power of hope to sustain people through the toughest times, and the strength that we can find when we come together and focus on building a brighter future," Cameron said.

"I wish you and your families a Chanukah Sameach."
