Two Israeli brothers have signed a book deal with UK publishing house Best Global Publishing on a book that has yet to be written.

Various ingredients make this book deal unique, but by far the most bizarre is the fact that one of the contractual stipulations is that the brothers’ website, Tooxta.com, has to make 1 million dollars before the book can begin.

’Unique Marketing Opportunity’

Brothers Shalom and David Khotoveli have devised what their website claims to be ’one of the most unique marketing opportunities in the internet’s history.’

They plan to offer money to businesses to visit their site and give a witty or ingenious answer to one of their questions, known as a ’Tooxta’. Anyone can visit the site and see the question and the answer and when the site has made 1 million dollars the brothers must write a book describing the entrepreneurial manner they made the money.

The book will include all the ’Tooxta’ answers, the names of the businesses and the founding and building of the idea and subsequent internet empire.

Life-changing Gamble

“I was offered a well-paid job in a London Investment Bank but I took a gamble and decided to do something different,” the Russian born, UK educated David Khotovel said.

"Tooxta is a first project of its kind in Internet’s history – the chance for businesses to appear in a real bestseller. It’s not hard to imagine the publicity that they can get from it.”

Jason Pegler, co-founder of Best Global Publishing said, “When David approached us with his offer we saw a visionary management team with an original idea and adaptability to market needs. We are confident Tooxta will achieve its goals and will make the book about their success story a hot item on the bookshelves.”

When asked what they intend to do with the money, Shalom said, “We will reinvest it to make Tooxta one of the best recognized brands on the Internet - in the same league as Google and Ebay.”
