Monaco's Prince Albert honours Nazis' victims at Auschwitz

Monaco's ruler Prince Albert and his wife Princess Charlene on Friday paid tribute to Holocaust victims during a solemn visit to the site of the Nazi death camp of Auschwitz-Birkenau.

Cardinal Pacelli issues a concordant known as the Hitler Concordant. Hitler described it as "unrestricted acceptance of National Socialism by the Vatican."

Cardinal Pacelli later became Pope Pius XII.
