LONDON (AFP)---A car carrying British diplomats was attacked in the West Bank city of Hebron by a group of Israeli settlers on Thursday, Britain's Foreign Office said.

"We can confirm that a delegation of visiting British diplomats were attacked in their car by a small group of Israeli settlers while visiting in Hebron," the Foreign Office said in a statement.

"There were no injuries. The Israeli police intervened and we are assisting then with their investigation of the incident," it added, without giving further details.
