	Storm in Italy after trade union urged boycott of Jewish businesses The Mayor of Rome said he would go on shopping at Jewish-owned stores in the city’s centre with leaders of the Jewish community to denounce a boycott proposal by a small left wing trade union to protest Israel's Gaza operation.
