	Iran's president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to attend Geneva UN racism meet Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad will attend a controversial United Nations conference against racism which starts on April 20 in Geneva.

'We will see if we can put forward a European position,' a French Foreign Ministry spokesman said.

Jacques Barrot spoke at a symposium on combating racism and anti-Semitism organized by the European Jewish Congress.

'We call upon the EU to categorically and unequivocally announce their withdrawal from Durban II without delay.'
