FRANCE

	France shocked by attack on Muslim war graves Vandals desecrated 148 Muslim graves in France's biggest war cemetery, hanging a pig's head from one tombstone and daubing slogans insulting France's Muslim justice minister.

The photo shows three paratroopers from Montauban doing a Nazi salute in front of a Nazi flag.

In 2007, 707 racist, xenophobic and anti-Semitic attacks, threats and other incidents were registered in France.

The Jewish Agency explains this fall by the popularity of President Nicolas Sarkozy among Jews.

French senior civil servant fired for anti-Israel pamphlet A French senior civil servant was fired after publishing an anti-Israeli pamphlet on Internet, the Interior Ministry announced Sunday.		French president Sarkozy's ex-wife remarries in New York Cecilia Ciganer-Albeniz, the ex-wife of French President Nicolas Sarkozy, married her Moroccan-born lover at New York's Rainbow Room, in a ceremony attended by around 150 guests, mostly Europeans.
