	In final debate on foreign policy, both Obama and Romney emphasize desire to protect ‘our biggest ally in the region’ Israel was mentioned 34 times but both candidates did not say what they would do if Israel conducted a unilateral strike on Iran.

The US Vice-President declared that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has been his friend for 39 years.

In a speech, he sought to clarify for voters how he would conduct US foreign policy as president.
